ECIL Technical Officer & Scientific Assistant Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification & Experience (exp. as of 31/07/2021):

1. Technical Officer on Contract (Cat. 1) - A First-class Engineering Degree

 (Full time) in Electronics and communication / Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Instrumentation with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized Institution

/University with one‐year post qualification experience in the field of Maintenance of 

Control & Instrumentation systems / Control Panels / Computer systems, Electronics & Communication systems / Troubleshooting of Analog & Digital I/O PCBs, Analog & 

Digital meters / indicators, power supplies etc.

2. Technical Officer on Contract (Cat. 2) - A First-class Engineering Degree 

(Full time) in Electronics & Tele-Communication with minimum 60% marks in 

aggregate from any recognized Institution / University with a one‐year post

 qualification experience in the field of Computer Hardware, Linux, Windows OS,

 Networking and basic knowledge in Electrical Systems

3. Technical Officer on Contract (Cat. 3) - A First-class Engineering Degree 

(Full time) in Computer Science / IT with minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from any

 recognized Institution / University with one‐year post qualification experience in the 

field of Java, MySQL, and Postgress.

4. Scientific Assistant-A on Contract (Cat. 1) - A first-class Diploma (Full time) in 

Electrical / Electronics & Communication / Instrumentation Engineering with 

minimum 60% marks in aggregate from any institution recognized by the State Board

 of Technical Education with One-year post qualification experience in the field of Testing

 / Maintenance of Control & Instrumentation systems / Electronics & Communication

systems.

5. Scientific Assistant-A on Contract (Cat. 2) - A first class Diploma (Full time) in Electronics & Communication / Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from any institution recognized 

by the State Board of Technical Education with one-year post qualification experience

 the field of Testing & Maintenance of Electronics / Instrumentation systems / 

Communication gadgets / Computers.

6. Scientific Assistant-A on Contract (Cat. 3) - A first-class Diploma (Full time) in Electronics & Communication / Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering with minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from any institution recognized

 by the State Board of Technical Education with one year post qualification experience

 the field of Computer Hardware, Linux, Windows OS, and Networking

7. Junior Artisan on Contract - Should have passed ITI (2 years) in the trades of Electronics / Computers / Instrumentation / Radio & TV with minimum one-year post qualification experience in the field of Testing & Maintenance of Pneumatic / 

Electronics / Instrumentation Systems / Communication Gadgets / Computers.

Reservations &Relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/EWS will be as per Govt. directives.

Relaxation of Marks: 1st Class is relaxed to 2 nd Class with 50% marks in aggregate for SC/ST candidates.

Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC & 10 more years relaxation for PwD category. The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir from 01/01/1980 to 31/12/1989.

ECIL Technical Officer & Scientific Assistant Selection Process 2021:

The selection will be based on performance in the Personal Interview for ‘Technical Officer on Contract’ posts; Written Test and Trade Test for ‘Scientific Assistant-A on Contract’ & ‘Junior Artisan on Contract’ posts. The final merit list will be prepared considering the score secured in the respective method(s).

Eligible candidates may download the Application Form from our website (www.ecil.co.in) and should report at 10:00 hrs. at the venue with duly filled in application along with the following original certificates & a set of self-attested photocopies:

a. SSC certificate or School leaving certificate as of Date of birth proof;

b. Identity proof (Govt. issued only; Aadhar, Driving License, Passport, etc.);

c. Documents in support of Qualification (SSC, Intermediate/ITI/Diploma, B.Tech./B.E. Certificates along with Marks memo, as applicable);

d. CGPA conversion certificate from institution/university, if any;

e. Experience certificate from previous employment (Appointment Order & recent pay slips, if working);

f. Category Certificate in support of SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy layer) & EWS in the prescribed proforma as per Government guidelines;

g. A valid certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PwD);

h. Discharge certificate in case of Ex-servicemen, if applicable;

i. Relevant certificate, if claiming age relaxation as the candidate from J&K;

 j. Recent passport size color photograph (Blue background only).
